In Lovejoy We Trustby *mr-book-faced

I did the lineart for this one right after I did my Snake Jailbird pic, hence the big brush strokes (wich I like very much). I did this one in a similar colouring style as well.

It's Reverend Lovejoy, whom I like very much and decided to draw after watching the episode "In Marge We Trust". He whupped monkey butt, he did, all the while speaking in that mono-tone drawl of his ( how can one resist it?).

Anyway, done with that, back to the old drawing board.

this is very cool. do you use a tablet? or do you hand draw these? just curious.

No, I don't have a tablet, though I wish I did. Very much.
I do the lineart with pen, scan it, and then use a Japanese program called Opencanvas to colour. I highly recomend it.

i have heard of opencanvas. and i sometimes do that, though i am forcing myself to get good with the tablet. i figure its a needed skill.
but i love hand drawn stuff. this is awesome.
